Fight Summer Hair Problems

It’s hard to keep up a do in the summer, especially with the heat and humidity. Straightening your hair will only make it frizzy at the end of the day, so what’s a girl to do? Here are a few surefire ways to keep the heat at bay from your hair and have you looking gorgeous all summer long.
Go Natural
See what works best for you in the summer. If you find that your hair gets frizzy and limp after blowdrying, let your hair air dry - it will shape itself into its natural texture. If you have straight hair, I would recommend working a little bit of mousse through damp hair and letting it air dry. This will give you soft waves and will keep the frizziness at bay. Do the same with curly hair - don’t fight your hair’s natural texture.
Aim Down
If you’re blowdrying your hair, stay away from flipping your head upside down since this will cause more friziness. Instead, stand up and aim the nozzle downwards to keep your strands sleek, and frizz-free.
Hydrate
When your hair is dryed out, it draws moisture from the air, creating tons and tons of unwelcomed frizz. Stop this from happening by using a nourishing shampoo.
Neutralize Frizz
To get rid of the frizz, use a silicone hair cream which helps neutralize frizz better than anything else. Work it through your strands on dry hair and apply a frizz-taming spray before blowdrying.

Shine Boost Your Hair

Your hair says a lot about you and your personality, so it’s very important to keep your hair up-to-date, clean, and of course shiny. There’s nothing more attractive than a shiny mane so here is how to get yours!
Degunk
Removing hair build-up is very important if you want your hair to look its best. Check your curling iron or flatiron. If is has a filmy finish, it’s a good sign that you have buildup on your hair too. Dunk a towel i water mixed with 1/4 cup of baking soda, then wipe down the plates of your tools to keep them clean and gunk free.
Shine Rinse
Mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with a cup of water, and pour it over dry hair. Follow up with a cool shower. The acidity in the vinegar breaks down environmental residue to help tired strands look glossy stain.
Rely on Nature’s Superstars
Damaged hair strands make hair appear flat. Certain botanicals, like cassia, help strands lie smoothly, so you get megawatt shine. You can find this at almost any drug store.
Wash Without Water
Excess product is the number one culprit for dull hair. Apply shampoo to dry hair (since water forms a barrier between hair and cleansing agents), then rinse. Doing so helps remove any leftover styles. link....

At Home Hair Care

Essential Oils for Hair CareAccording to scientific research hairs are only dead tissues that grow out of the hair follicles embedded in the skin. Hence the role of oil treatments to promote hair growth and cure any degree of hair loss has been controversial in modern sciences. However, in 1998 a study was carried out by Scottish researchers and published in the Archives of Dermatology (1998; 134:1349-1352) proved that aromatherapy can effectively promote new hair growth.In the study half of the 84 patients were massaged a combination of essential oils on daily basis for a period of seven months, while the rest of half patients were massaged with jojoba oil and grapeseed oils. Following recipe was used;
Thyme oil - 2 drops
Rosemary oil - 3 drops
Lavender oil - 3 drops
Cedarwood oil - 2 drops
Jojoba oil - 3 ml
Grapeseed oil - 20mlAfter a period of seven months, it was observed that about 44% of the patients who used essential oils showed a considerable growth of hairs, whereas the other group showed just 15% improvement.
This was an important achievement that made clear the role of essential oils in hair care. Since then there are innumerable hairproducts in the market that claim to use these oils as their major ingredient. These herbal treatments for hairs are surely less expansive and less likely to cause any severe side effects while have a success rate near to chemical based medical treatments. link....
